Portell ha fet un pas significatiu cap a un futur m\u00e9s sostenible gr\u00e0cies a la implementaci\u00f3 del seu Pla d’Acci\u00f3 per al Clima i l’Energia Sostenible (PACES). Este ambici\u00f3s projecte, executat per l’empresa Enginy, ha perm\u00e9s al municipi dur a terme diverses iniciatives enfocades en la reducci\u00f3 d’emissions i la promoci\u00f3 d’energies netes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre les accions m\u00e9s destacades es troba la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 d’una nova caldera de biomassa en la xarxa de calor municipal. Esta tecnologia innovadora permet utilitzar biomassa com a combustible, la qual cosa redu\u00efx significativament les emissions de CO2 en comparaci\u00f3 amb els combustibles f\u00f2ssils tradicionals. A m\u00e9s, s’ha adquirit un vehicle el\u00e8ctric per a un servei de ‘carsharing’ municipal, fomentant aix\u00ed la mobilitat sostenible i reduint la contaminaci\u00f3 atmosf\u00e8rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Per a millorar la qualitat de l’aire i la biodiversitat, s’ha creat una nova zona verda mitjan\u00e7ant la plantaci\u00f3 d’esp\u00e8cies aut\u00f2ctones. Este espai no nom\u00e9s embellix el municipi, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 contribu\u00efx a la captura de carboni i a la creaci\u00f3 d’un h\u00e0bitat per a la fauna local.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDes de l’Ajuntament de Portell portem anys treballant en la reducci\u00f3 d’emissions i l’\u00fas de les energies verdes. Comptem amb \u2018xarxa calor\u2019 per a calefacci\u00f3 i aigua calenta, amb plaques solars i comunitat energ\u00e8tica i amb punt de rec\u00e0rrega de vehicles el\u00e8ctric, tot aix\u00f2 en pro de l’efici\u00e8ncia energ\u00e8tica\u201d ha afirmat l’alcalde, \u00c1lvaro Ferrer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gr\u00e0cies a estes accions, Portell es posiciona com un referent en la lluita contra el canvi clim\u00e0tic a la regi\u00f3. Motiu pel qual ha sigut convidat en diverses ocasions a confer\u00e8ncies i f\u00f2rums sobre sostenibilitat energ\u00e8tica.
